GenSend Salt Lake provides an opportunity to engage in gospel ministry in one of the least reached places in the U.S. The entire state of Utah is only 2% reached with the gospel. You will learn what it takes to faithfully engage the lost culture of Utah from on-site missionaries and church planters. You will be equipped in evangelism, prayer, gospel contextualization among the Latter-Day Saint culture, and church planting strategy. We are looking for committed followers of Jesus who desire to share their faith and gain an understanding and compassion for a culture vastly different from their own. GenSend SLC extends a lot of freedom for the team and its individual members to use their specific gifts to engage the community. GenSend is looking for students who are ready to put their “yes” on the table exploring their call to church planting. Preference given to students who are a part of Southern Baptist churches involved in church planting.
