“If you want to grow closer to God, be stretched and put outside of your comfort zone, have your heart for the nations grow, learn from older, wiser mentors and missionaries on the field, and utilize your summer for the glory of God, then you should serve as a summer missionary! My two summers have grown me and shaped me into the Christian I am today. I would not be on the path I am today without it.”
Sara Grace Simmons, MSU
“There is so much lostness in this world with many people who have yet to hear the gospel. We are the ones who must go and share. It will change your life and change your perspective on life. You will not regret serving even if you have to miss a few things back home and make sacrifices. It will all be worth it! This life is short but eternity is long, and there are people dying each day without ever hearing the gospel.”
Dylan Bryan, Co-Lin
“Regardless of where you serve or what you do, serving as a summer missionary gives you a front row view of watching how God works across the country and in the world. It looks different everywhere, but it is beyond encouraging to see people who love the Lord adapt to their circumstances to do whatever they can to serve Him. Serving for the summer is difficult thing, but it encourages a full reliance on God who is our perfect provider.”
