Join us as we reach UPGs (Unreached People Groups) in a remote corner of the Asian Pacific Rim! Our country is home to roughly 3.5 million people, with over half of that population residing in its capital city which is the location of this assignment. Outside of the city, many live a nomadic lifestyle, living in tents called “gers” and raising animals for their livelihood. After establishing freedom from communism in the early 90s, our country’s borders opened to the world, meaning that M work is still fairly new. Many have yet to hear the gospel, and the number of protestant believers is thought to be around 0.8%, with most people groups being considered UPGs or UUPGs (Unreached and Unengaged People Groups). We want to see the indigenous people come to know Christ and form churches, and then equip the churches to reach their own people. By joining our team for the summer, you will be able to work alongside our team and local churches to reach these UPGs through various means, including:
● Faithfully prayer walking the city
● Making friends with college aged students and having spiritual conversations with them
● Using your unique skills, hobbies, and interests, such as English teaching, sports, photography, art, or music to lead English corners and camps designed to engage non-believers
● Coming alongside a local church to assist in their outreach and discipleship efforts
● Encouraging local believers to live missionally
